Sege Storms To Heat Victory in Rain/Hail Rescheduled R.O.C. Golden Anniversary 100 !!!

The Fidanza-Petrie Motorsports Team was primed and ready to turn it up a notch for the day as the month long drought from racing at Dunn Tire Raceway Park brought competitors and fans to the track in Lancaster, New York. Sege unveiled a new back panel look as the team rolled out the 77 modified out on the pit pad. 109 former and some current drivers adorned the new panel.
Warm-ups went well as the team made adjustments to the very green race track. 28 R.O.C. modifieds were on hand to start the festivities as Sege drew the pole for the first of 3 heats. "Super Sege" quickly drew out from the rest of the field as outside pole sitter Karl Hehr seemed to miss a shift on the initial start forcing a quick yellow for a complete re-start. On the re-start, Sege again would take command and not face any challenges and made quick work of a heat victory.

The top four from each heat would redraw and Sege drew outside of row 2 . Rain would come to the track on lap 16 of the SST race and wash out the rest of the program. The race has been rescheduled to Sunday August 24th. Pit Gate will open at 10 A.M. Practice at 11.A.M.
Grand stands at noon and racing at 2.P.M. Rain checks from 8/9 will be honored on that day.

Sege and the rest of the team will be looking forward to the "Heroes Homecoming" this week at Dunn Tire Raceway Park. 1/2 price admission from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. Sege Finishes Second, Earns Points Lead !!!

Long cautions in the Street and 23 car S.S.T. Modified field forced the 18 car McGard Modified field to start past 11:00 P.M. Dave Wollaber and Rick Kluth started upfront. After two aborted starts, the Mighty modifieds were on their way, Sege was able to cut through the field by lap twenty to fifth place.
